PEOPLE with a range of disabilities tested the catering skills of apprentices at Boston College’s Sage Restaurant in Spalding.
The 11 members of Boston Disability Forum lunched at the Red Lion Street training restaurant acting as mystery diners helping students learn how to ensure customers who may have physical, mobility, hearing, visual or hidden impairments have the best possible dining experience.
After the group had enjoyed their meal, they shared their dining-out experiences with the students, who sat down with them.
A Boston College spokesman said: “The staff and apprentices aim to deliver exceptional customer service to customers of all abilities.
“This was a perfect opportunity for them.”
