Moulton already knows it has willing volunteers.

Now it wants to know if the village has got talent.

The new volunteers on the community centre and village hall committee have approached their task with enthusiasm, keen to turn the buildings into the hub of the village.

Members have already made changes to the front of the community centre and hall, making the areas more inviting as the first step.

Already, attractive planters, hanging baskets and – over Christmas – a decorated and lit tree beautified the frontage of the buildings.

A committee member said: “The festive season was celebrated with an enthusiastic group of villagers and friends carol singing on the village green. This continued in the community centre, aided and abetted by mulled wine and mince pies.”

Moulton Has Talent is the next venture, and it’s to take place on Sunday, February 23.

The committee member said: “The community centre and the village hall already host a wide range of activities, reaching out to many areas of the community, but the new committee is aiming at making the buildings the hub of the village.”
