Vintage tractor enthusiasts were rocking at a working weekend held in aid of Moulton Windmill.

Live band Retrospect played 60s and 70s music on a stubble field, owned by Olt Myers, while the crowd enjoyed a barbecue.

Organiser of Sunday’s event near Moulton, Paul Beecham, said he was delighted with the turn-out.

“We had 36 vintage tractors and a good number came out to watch. It’s the fifth year of the event and raised £633.69 for Moulton Windmill.

“Tractors are my hobby. I own a TED20 Ferguson and keep it at a farm in Weston Hills. I’ve held three fundraisers this year and would like to thank Lincolnshire Field Produce for their help.

“People don’t realise what these big businesses do for charity.”

If you’ve missed this year’s events, Mr Beecham is already organising one for New Year’s Day.

He said: “I’m hoping to hold a tractor run for the Alzheimer’s Society.”
