Motorists frustrated by Long Sutton road closures

Motorists were left frustrated when two main routes in and out of Long Sutton were shut at the same time.
On Tuesday morning the B1359 Gedney Road and B1390 Station Road were both closed - with one commuter branding it ‘ridiculous’.
The roundabout at Wisbech Road - near McDonald’s - was also affected by a blocked lane when a lorry shed some timber, meaning the remaining open route into the town was also affected.

Gedney Road has reopened, but gas main works continue on Station Road - with the closure due until July 1.
