Crowland accident: 16-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured

A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries after a motorcycle accident in Crowland this morning (Wednesday).

The accident involved a white Derbi motorcycle and happened at 5.39am at Gravel Causeway, near the Welland Bridge.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 5.40am this morning.

"The caller reported an RTC. We sent a crewed ambulance and a doctor and transported one patient to Peterborough City Hospital."
