Peter ‘Hicky’ Hickman will be at the ever-popular Springfields Motorbike Show in Spalding this weekend.

Hicky replaces John McGuinness as special guest on Sunday – John has been called up to ride in New Zealand.

Peter, who lives in north Lincolnshire, rode for the RAF Reserves team on MBW machinery in BSB for the 2015 season and International Road Races, achieving the eighth fastest time ever on the 2015 Isle of Man TT with a 131.626mph lap in the Senior in only his second year. He also notched up a Superbike win at the Ulster and the Macau Grand Prix.

For 2016, Hicky will be racing in the British Superbike Championship as well as the major road races with the GBmoto Racing Team riding the factory backed J G Speedfit Kawasaki ZX-10R.

Other standout attractions at the show include a display of several famous bikes courtesy of Phil Morris Racing, including winning bikes from various classes of racing.

The show is a great mix of new and classic bikes and features a large display from many local and regional clubs, including Norton owners and Royal Enfields. One of the halls is dedicated to classic bikes and there will also be a custom bike area.

In addition there will be new and used bikes for sale, specialist parts and accessories from various exhibitors.

The show is open from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is £7 adults and £3 for children (under 5s are free).
