Latest awards for staff and pupils at Kirton Primary School

Kirton Primary School has scooped two awards at a glittering ceremony in London.

It won the Children and Young People Now Learning Award, beating the London Institute of Banking and Finance, amongst other finalists.

Executive head teacher Nicky Donley said: "The school did well simply to be shortlisted from over 600 entrants, and against such huge competition. It was an immensely proud moment for the school whose unique banking system has received recognition across the country."
