Vulnerable people who need help to collect their medication will be able to call on the help of volunteers.
South Holland Parish Voluntary Car Scheme is offering this service to help people who are unable to leave the house as they need to shield.
The voluntary car scheme already provides a vital service for people in helping them to attend hospital and other medical appointments.
The medication collection service will be provided for the period in which vulnerable people are asked to stay at home and shield. The usual journey fee of £2 will apply.
Contact Spalding organiser, Iris Landen on 01775 766085 who will arrange for a driver to collect the prescription, take it to the chemist and then deliver it.
