Man dies in Crowland after being trapped under vehicle

Emergency services were called to Crowland on Saturday evening after a man was reportedly trapped under the vehicle he had been working on.

The man is believed to have died at the scene.

Police, fire and rescue and both the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and East of England Ambulance Service attended.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said:"We were called to The Chase, Crowland, at 7.15pm on Saturday to a report that a man was trapped under a vehicle.

"Sadly, he later died.

"We are not treating the incident as suspicious."

A spokesman for EMAS said: “We received a call at 19.18 on September 29 to an incident on The Chase, Crowland.

"We sent a paramedic in a fast response vehicle and was supported by East of England Ambulance Service with a paramedic in a fast response vehicle and a double crewed ambulance.”
