MAN'S BEST FRIEND:George is ready for a loving home

Hi everyone, famous George here! You may have been following my story on social media... I have really come along way.

Currently I have my own room and garden and spend most of my day asleep in the sunshine. I am now ready to find my own home, one of which is happy to take me on short walks and shower me with attention.

I have a bad back and need to take it slow. I will require ongoing medication to keep me pain-free and my new friends can tell you all about that.

I have recently been going to lots of hydrotherapy sessions with the amazing Craigard Hydrotherapy Centre. It is helping my movement lots (see picture).

My new home needs to be adult-only with no other pets. I love people so much that I don’t really want any doggy friends.

However, I’m a great companion and a lot of fun – they say I’m a puppy in an old man’s body!

Please give the South Lincolnshire centre a call on 01205 260546 or drop them an email at slincs@jerrygreendogs.org.uk to find out all about me.

Mini-miles in May!

Your mission is to complete 30-miles this May, in whatever way you like, and fund raise for Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

You can run, walk, cycle, jump, swim or even hop.

That is less than one mile per day, and you will have your class, club or community group, as well as your friends and family, all cheering you on.

Can you take the challenge this May?
Can you take the challenge this May?

So let us get outside in the great outdoors, in our gardens or school playgrounds and raise some money for our wonderful rescue dogs.

Calling all junior schools, sports clubs and community groups – if you are looking for a fun activity that encourages children 11 years and under to get active and learn about fundraising, then our brand new ‘Mini Miles in May’ is the challenge for you!

If you are a community group such as Cubs or Brownies, this could be the perfect challenge to facilitate your ‘Fundraising Activity’ or ‘Charity Badge’.

Or if you are a school that is looking to provide PE lessons with a purpose, please access our free information pack for more details.

We will be presenting every participating child with a ‘Mini Miles in May’ certificate and medal after the challenge has ended at their school, club or group.
