Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after A17 crash at Sutterton

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a lorry.

A Ford Fiesta and the lorry were involved in a collision on the A17 close to the Sutterton roundabout at around 6.07am yesterday.

The road was closed between the roundabout and the B1397 Spalding Road for around seven hours.

The driver of the car, a man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries while the lorry driver was unhurt.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
