A Holbeach man has been sent for trial on allegations of dangerous driving during a police pursuit in Spalding.

Lloyd Hook (26), of Oxford Gardens, who appeared before Boston Magistrates by video link on Wednesday as he was suffering from Covid, denied dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and without insurance on August 28 in New Road, Pinchbeck Road and Church Street, Spalding.

Despite objections from Mr Hook's defence solicitor, the magistrates ruled he should stand trial at Lincoln Crown Court with a first appearance on December 1 and he was granted unconditional bail.
