A16 Crowland and Peterborough: road closed following a fatal collision
A 21-year-old man has died following another collision on the A16 near Crowland.
Police closed the road between Crowland and Peterborough just after 8.25pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 12) following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
Emergency services had attended the incident on the A16 at Newborough but despite their best efforts the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry was not injured and has not been arrested.
The A16 has now re-opened.
Simon Rayner, 51, of St Thomas Road, Spalding died after a four vehicle collision on the A16 at Newborough on Friday last week.
