By Spalding Court Reporter

A Holbeach St Marks man who drove to the shops, despite being disqualified from driving, has been told by a magistrate he is 'lucky he was not looking at custody.'

James Webb (32) of St Marks Road, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance, when he appeared at Boston Magistrates' Court yesterday (Wednesday, November 6).

Magistrates heard he had been banned from driving under the totting up procedure until December but had been found driving in Skirbeck Road, Boston, by police at 11.30am on September 7.
