Pair arrested after police attend Queens Road this morning

A 50-year-old man and 53-year-old woman were arrested this morning (Friday) in Spalding.

Police said they had executed a warrant on Queens Road, in the St Paul's area of the town, at 8.55am today.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "We have arrested a man aged 50 and a woman aged 53 on suspicion of handling stolen goods."

Police also thanked the local community for their support and said they hoped to have offered reassurance to anyone concerned about the police presence in Queens Road earlier today.
