Lincolnshire County Council chairman William Webb acknowledges that people living in the south of Lincolnshire frequently feel they are forgotten at county level.
However, that is not the case, says William, adding: “We get the same crack of the whip at as everybody else. I had to go to Lincoln and find that out and make sure we were in fact getting as good a deal as other parts of the county.
“I am very proud to represent the county and South Holland and the south of the county.”
In his spare time, William has been involved in various agricultural societies and was a steward at the East of England Show for 40 years.
William and Jane have a daughter Emma, who lives with her husband and two sons near Manchester.
