Returning for its fifth year, the Holbeach Music and Beer Festival promises to be a huge show
The Holbeach Music and Beer Festival returns for its fifth year this summer and it's even bigger than ever.
Held on the town's Kings Field on Fen Road, with Raven's Gate, the festival runs over three days - on August 2, 3 and 4 with camping available.
Headlining on the Saturday is possibly the best Take That tribute band you can see. 'Rule the World,' dubbed the official number one Take That tribute, and even praised by Gary Barlow himself, are set to wow crowds.
'Raise a Glass' to award-winning tribute to 'Pink', Vicky Jackson, who is as close to the real artist as you can imagine. She headlines on the Sunday.
And to tie in with the festival's '80s and '90s theme this year, ultimate '80s band Wild Boys will perform the biggest hits of that decade as headline act on the Friday. The band Revival will play '90s hits on the Saturday.
Zeb Rootz bring a flavour of ska and reggae to the festival, also on Saturday; with The Jam'd (The Jam tribute) and rockabilly favourites The Houndogs on the Sunday.
For the first time this year, the festival will also include the added attraction of theHolbeach Car Show, featuring VW camper vans, retro, classic cars, and historical and modified cars and kit cars, plus a restoration and performance car show.
The brains behind the festival, Sean Taylor (43), said: "People love live music and having a good time and the festival has just grown. We introduced a free shuttle bus last year, from the town to the field, and we'll be doing the same again this year.
"We have plenty of space on the site and there is car parking - and posh showers on the campsite."
Tickets can be purchased as a one day pass, weekend pass, or with camping.
- If you get in quick, you can save 25%off the cost of tickets for the festival by purchasing one of the first 1000 early bird tickets.
The full line-up of bands, plus support, can be found on the Holbeach Music and Beer Festival website.
As well as the music, there will, of course be a huge range of beers, ales and other beverages to try, plus a VIP area, funfair and food.
