It was a magic moment for Crowland Community Hub at its official opening on the afternoon of Halloween.
Townsfolk and VIPs gathered outside the facility in Hall Street in fancy dress to get into the true spirit of the event.

The opening ceremony took place with the designer of the logo Lottie Hemmings cutting the ribbon in spite of delays by Lincolnshire County Council in transferring the running of services at the hub, as well as responsibility for the library building itself.
Crowland Community Hub chairman Paul Bywater spoke of the many hurdles the steering group had faced over the two years they have fought to save the library building and make it a true facility for the community.
He said: “Along the way others have condemned us but the steering group always believed we should protect the future of this facility.
“We now want to build on working really well with Crowland Cares and other groups and raising money.”
Inside guests were treated to a Halloween buffet and entertainment.
