We have been fortunate to be asked to help Pinchbeck Carnival Committee for several years and each year the organisers think of new and exciting attractions to woo the crowds who continue to flock to this popular village event each June.
Each year in March, in the run up to Pinchbeck Carnival, the committee organises an event in the village hall at which the year’s prince and princesses are chosen. Traditionally, the format has been the judging followed by a well-supported dance.
For 2015 it’s been decided to invite local performers to entertain as part of the evening. Performers can be soloists using backing tracks or multi-instrumentalists singing covers or their own tracks. Performers don’t necessarily have to sing; they could be comedy acts or indeed mime.
It is on March 27 (7pm) at Pinchbeck Village Hall. If you would like to perform at the evening, please call us here at the Tulip Radio office on 01775 712400 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be pleased to arrange times. Alternatively give us details of someone you know who might fit the bill.
Pinchbeck Carnival takes place this year on the Rotten Row playing field on Saturday, June 13, with the traditional church service and lunch taking place in the marquee the following morning.
