Matschull family frustrated by Coronation Channel litter

A Spalding family appealed for people to stop dumping their rubbish along the Coronation Channel.

Darren Matschull, his wife Gabriela and twins Brandon and Morgan (9) were upset by the state of the banks of the waterway, where they walked their dogs.

The family collected piles of rubbish every time they walked there and put up anti-litter signs and called for bins to be emptied more frequently.

Mr Matschull said he had seen a fridge dumped in the river and dozens of dead fish.
