NOSTALGIA: Spalding St Paul's School Shoe Box Appeal in 2001




In December 2001, the Free Press reported how pupils at St Paul's Community Primary School in Spalding had collected 55 decorated shoe boxes to send to children in the world's most poor countries.

Head teacher Heather Beeken was delighted with the response from the school's first Shoe box appeal and said she was very proud of her pupils.
