A gigantic crane was called in to deliver a new oven to the Princes food production site at Long Sutton.
Guardian photographer Tim Wilson captured this image of the crane towering over the rooftops of the company’s Bridge Road buildings on Saturday. A spokesman for Princes said: “The crane on our Long Sutton site was being used as part of ongoing improvements to the facility. “Princes continually invests in its sites to maintain our position as a first choice food and drink group.”
Long Sutton is the company’s largest food production site in the UK, producing a range of canned products such as baked beans, vegetables, fruit, pulses, pasta and meatballs.
