Long Sutton sends a thank you to those behind free community event

A big thank you has gone out to the people who came together to organise a free community event in Long Sutton.

Up to 1,300 residents attended The Parkside Club in London Road, Long Sutton, on November 2 for a fireworks display paid for by Long Sutton Dentistry.

The Parkside Club's Sean Gedney said: "This is the second year it has been put on, and there were two local businesses selling food - Three Counties Field Kitchen and the Unicorn Diner.

"Really Awesome Coffee was serving hot drinks. The fireworks were paid for by Long Sutton Dentistry and supplied and set off by Fireworks4you. This all happened on the football pitch in front of the Parkside Club. And we were lucky enough for the rain to hold off."
