More than 100 people rolled back the clock to the 60s and 70s, recreating the fashions of the day, at a fundraising disco organised by Spalding Lions.

Spalding Grammar School reverberated to the trendy vibes of the day on Saturday night and vice president Jean Biggadike said young people were singing along with the older party goers to hits from the decades.

“Spaceman” Adam Mayer (pictured with Dionne Fisher and Gemma Turton) took things one small step further by donning a space suit in tribute to the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong.

Jean (61) wore the mini in her heyday and managed to recreate her 1960s style by buying a tunic to go short – and black and white – on the night.
