RECOVERING cancer patient Claire Taylor enjoyed two sailing adventures with the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
Claire (22), from Spalding, faces a string of reconstructive surgery operations but says the sailing trips helped her.
Her first trip was in the Solent off the Isle of Wight and the second off Poole and Southampton.
Claire said: “You got so involved with the sailing and everyone was really helpful.
“I would recommend it to anyone. The best bit was chilling out in the evenings and making new friends.”
The trust aims to inspire young people’s cancer recovery. Dame Ellen said the young adults are “truly amazing” and go through experiences that no one should ever have to do yet they do it with the biggest smiles.
