A Latvian man has denied carrying out three burglaries on the same day in Spalding.

During the first burglary it is alleged Dmitrijs Afanasjevs (28) stole an ipad and docking station, cables, headphones, cameras, mobile phones and purse with its contents from a home in Low Road, Spalding.

He is also accused of stealing a purse and wallet with their contents from a home in Heathfield Road, and two televisions, a PlayStation 3 and a bag from a caravan in Pecks Drove East, Spalding.

Afanasjevs, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to all three charges.

Mark Knowles, prosecuting, said all three burglaries occurred within a mile of each other. The case was adjourned for trial at Lincoln Crown Court on July 6. Afanasjevs was remanded in custody until his trial.
