Spalding and Peterborough Transport Forum set to fold next week
A pressure group calling for improved transport services in South Holland is set to disband next week.
Spalding and Peterborough Transport Forum, which has campaigned for the reintroduction of Sunday train services, is to fold after the resignation of its chairman.
George Scott, who helped form the group in 2003, blamed a lack of support from the community for his decision to wind down the group which is best known for its work to tidy up Spalding Rail Station.
