A pilot who has flown the iconic Lancaster aircraft across the globe is coming to Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding to give a talk on his fascinating career.
Mike Chatterton, who taxies the Lancaster ‘Just Jane’ at the Lincolnshire Heritage Aviation Centre, will be visiting the historic venue on Saturday, September 24 from 2pm.
Mr Chatterton will give a special presentation called ‘A Tale of Two Lancs’ in which, with the aid of photos and short video clips, he describes some of his favourite moments flying the famous aircraft.
The event follows hot on the heels of a similar talk from Vulcan pilot Bill Ramsey in August which was fully booked.
Demand for this event is also expected to be high, so anyone interested in attending is advised to book places quickly.
Tickets cost £5 and can be booked by calling Ayscoughfee Hall on 01775 764555 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Meanwhile, Bill Ramsey will be returning to Ayscoughfee for another talk on Saturday, October 1 from 2.30pm and there are limited tickets available.
