Those lovely ladies from Spalding Handful of Harmonies choir have been treading the boards again in London’s West End, this time at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Along with approximately 40 others from the other Harmonies choirs they wowed the audience with their medley of My Fair Lady.
The more gentle song A Moment in Time, recorded by Adele, followed by New York, New York and Don’t Stop Believing wound up their performances. The enthusiasm and pride of their music director Andrew Clingo was very evident to the audience who included many friends and family who had travelled to London.
This choir is open to ladies who simply enjoy singing, an opportunity to have quality ‘me’ time, creating beautiful music for fun. Concerts are completely optional and there are no auditions.
The next term starts April 24 at Bromley Memorial Hall, Pode Hole 1.30pm-3pm. For further information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01778 345857.
