Attempted murder accused in court
A 31-year-old man accused of the attempted murder of two women has made a further appearance at Lincoln Crown Court.
James McDonald faces charges of attempting to murder Susan McDonald and Helen Seymour in Kirton, on May 18.
McDonald spoke only to confirm his name and did not enter any plea to the charges when he appeared this morning.
He also faces a third allegation that he was in possession of a bladed article, a kitchen knife, on the same occasion.
Judge John Pini QC adjourned the case for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
McDonald, who now lives in Leicester, was remanded to appear back in court on August 16.
