Village groups have been given a share of funds left over from this year’s jubilee celebrations.

The Moulton Jubilee Committee decided to give a share of £2,000 to community groups such as the Moulton Brownies, Moulton and Whaplode Scouts, Moulton Ladies and Friends of John Harrox School.

There were also shares for Moulton Community Association and Moulton Mill.

District and parish councillor Andrew Woolf was on hand to present the cheque. He said: “It’s fantastic that we are able to put every penny back into the village and it feels like a happy closure to what was an overwhelming success for the village. “
