GIFTED singer Josie Clifton, whose voice won hearts on TV and in town in cabaret at the 2010 joint Spalding prom, has something to shout about.

For all the time she was singing, she felt self-conscious about her weight and now she’s put all that behind her, having shed 5st 11lbs with WeightWatchers.

Josie was presented with a certificate for reaching her goal weight at the St Norbert’s Hall class in Spalding which she joined at 16.

She said: “I’m over the moon. I’ve had great support and believe I couldn’t have done it without the class.

“My plans now are to audition for performing arts schools and hopefully get a place, I’m going to carry on singing as I hope for a professional career in it.”
