THE new term of Polka Dot Academy is due to start on Monday and is enjoying success in its new premises at Spalding Youth Centre.

The academy’s youth theatre, Limelight, has wowed audiences, while members of the Dance Troupe were placed first in their category at the Starpower International Dance Competition.

The autumn term is a good time to start, with children who attend Polka Dot Academy (from two to 18) working towards a variety of different performances and competitions. These include dance and talent shows and a Christmas production.

During the new term, all Limelight and dance groups will be working towards a brand new musical – Curtain Up – based on the back stage goings on of a West End theatre. Performances of Curtains Up are due to take place on Saturday, December 1 (1.30pm and 6.30pm) at South Holland Centre in Spalding.

Tickets are already available from the box office on 01775 764777.
