Popular South Holland Jobs Fair returns in March

This year’s annual South Holland Jobs Fair takes place on Tuesday, March 5, offering visitors the opportunity to speak to employers, advisors and training providers from a range of industries who are recruiting in the district and surrounding area.

The ever-popular event is being held at The Castle Sports Complex in Spalding between 10am and 2pm, organised by South Holland District Council and The Department for Work and Pensions.

Representatives from a variety of sectors will be on hand to discuss current vacancies and apprenticeships as well as offering information about a wide range of job opportunities. Visitors will be able to get recruitment advice from industry experts and discover the latest training and development opportunities.

Providers will also be on hand to advise and support anyone who is thinking of starting their own business, offering practical help as well as more information on workshops, networking, office facilities and all the other things budding entrepreneurs need to consider.

Coun Nick Worth, South Holland District Council deputy leader and portfolio holder for growth and commercialisation, said: "The 2019 South Holland Jobs Fair is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a new job or to find out more about a different area of work to speak to local employers and get invaluable careers advice.

“We always get a fantastic turnout for the event, both from employers and from residents, with over 500 people attending the event last year. South Holland District Council is committed to helping its residents find the best available job for them, and also to ensuring high-quality, high-skilled employment in the district.
