Open house at Holbeach and Holbeach Bank schools
Parents and toddlers had a wonderful chance to see two local schools at work.
Holbeach Primary Academy and Holbeach Bank Academy held open mornings during the same week, which saw some parents and carers taking the opportunity to visit both.
Year 6 pupils were on hand to guide visitors around the schools and the PTFA ensured there was a warm welcome with tea and coffee.
Visitors were able to see lessons in progress, such as phonics, English and history.
Holbeach Primary has more than 300 pupils while Holbeach Bank has around 70.
Both schools come under the wing of the Lincolnshire Educational Trust and share the same principal, Mrs Sue Boor.
Holbeach Bank became an academy in June this year, when parents learned from Mrs Boor about the commitment to "make it one of the best primary schools in the area".
The open days at Holbeach Primary and Holbeach Bank were part of an ethos where parents and carers are welcomed, and prospective parents are invited to contact the schools to make appointments to be shown around at other times.
