While we get out the paddling pool or turn on the air con, pigs have got a much more natural way of keeping cool in the current hot weather.

The Sanctuary’s Gren Owen said: “This is how our pigs keep cool. Of course, it covers itself in mud not just to cool down but any bugs which might be on the pig’s skin would be killed off and when the pig rubs off the mud pack they feel so much better.”
