BALLOONS and bunting added to the party spirit as Lily Tidman celebrated her 100th birthday at the Tanglewood Cedar Falls home in Spalding.
Lily was joined by her family, including daughters Marian Wright and Barbara Shawley, friends, residents and staff from the home.
There was entertainment from a musician for the party.
Lily received a telegram from the Queen and congratulations from MPs as well as cards and gifts from family and friends.
Home senior care assistant Susan Wilson said Lily originally came from the London area and had lived in Boston, Holbeach and Spalding.
The eldest of seven children, she had worked as a char lady and on the land.
Mrs Wilson said: “She can have a good old banter with you. She’s an absolutely lovely lady.”
