A Spalding couple with a baby girl and toddler son just like Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have had a royal delivery of their own.
Emma and Adam Wilson’s son, Oliver (two), was born just before the Royal couple announced the birth of Prince George and their daughter, Bethan (one), is just 11 months older than Princess Charlotte.
So when Princess Charlotte was born, the Wilsons sent the royal couple their congratulations and have just received a thank you card.
Emma said: “We sent congratulation cards to Prince William and Kate when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born and we’ve just had our second thank you card back from them.
“Because Prince George and Oliver were born so close, we’ve always felt we can relate to them - after all, they are a young couple just like us.”
The card, which features a picture of the royal couple and new baby, said “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are most touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the birth of their daughter, Princess Charlotte.
Both Oliver and Bethan are mischievous - but especially Bethan. “I’ve heard a lot of people say girls are worse. If I was offering advice to Prince William and Kate I’d definitely say stick with two.Emma Wilson
“Their Royal Highnesses are extremely grateful for the wonderful messages they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”
Working mum Emma, an accountant for Moore Thompson, says she wouldn’t be surprised if Prince William and Kate were still feeling tired after their second arrival.
In an article in the Express newspaper, the Duke of Cambridge revealed to the England Women’s World Cup squad that he was suffering from a lack of sleep due to his newborn daughter, as well as boisterous toddler Prince George.
