A popular employee at a Spalding bingo hall had a full house when she retired after working there for 50 years.
Pat Wilkinson arrived at the Regent Bingo Club in Westlode Street to find a surprise party had been organised for her.

Staff presented her with gifts and a cake and many customers who had known her over the years turned out to wish her well.
The bingo club was a cinema when Pat, of Bourne Road, started working there as an usherette.
When it became a bingo club her role changed over the years to include working front of house, book sales and in the office.
Claire Dixon, assistant manageress, said: “Pat will certainly be missed. She has been very popular with the customers over the years – even coming to show them her wedding dress on the day she married.

“Her surprise party was a huge success and everyone had a great time.

“It won’t be the last time we see her though. Next time she will be able to come and play though.”
