Spalding police investigate after goat is killed
Police are appealing for information after a goat was found dead.
Officers were called to an address in Rangell Gate, Low Fulney, at just after 8.45am after a female goat was believed to be killed.
This incident is believed to have happened between 9pm last night (Thursday, July 30) and 8.30am today.
A police statement says: "We are investigating this incident and anyone with information should call 101 quoting Incident 83 of 30th July.”
This follows a brutal attack on a flock of sheep in Surfleet Marsh two weeks ago.
Farmer Tom French was horrified to find two of his ewes had been run over while another had been set alight while it was still alive. A total of 30 were also injured in the incident.
Mr French had tracked down a cctv image of a girl who was seen walking and crying near the field in Surfleet Marsh at the time of the attack.
