Investigation into alleged racist incident at Spalding shop

LEARN MOREA town shop has confirmed it is conducting an investigation into an alleged racist incident.
A spokesperson for Savers, in Hall Place, Spalding, says that it is looking into reports that a member of the public was incorrectly accused of shoplifting.
It is also alleged that racist language was used by staff during the incident, which is thought to have taken place on Saturday, June 11.
An eyewitness described the events as 'disturbing'.
A Savers spokesperson said: "We are currently investigating this incident in full with the store and colleagues in question."
Lincolnshire Police said it has no record of the matter.
