Inquest opens after Crowland tragedy

An inquest has been opened and adjourned following the tragic death of a Crowland man who was trapped under a car he was working on.
Gerald Francis McDaid (58) died at The Chase on Saturday, September 29.
Emergency services - police, fire and ambulance - were called.
The inquest was opened in Boston yesterday (Monday) and adjourned to a provisional date, March 29.
