On Tuesday some 755 primary pupils from 21 schools from across the region enjoyed cross country races and a fun run at Spalding Grammar School.
The competitive races took place between teams for Years 5/6 boys, Years 5/6 girls, Years 3/4 boys and Years 3/4 girls from across South Lincolnshire.
Schools could enter teams of ten runners and the first five for each team scored for their school.

The event was one of many competitions and festivals this year organised by School Games Organiser, Rupert Gibson, from Agilitas Sports Ltd, alongside the Sainsbury’s School Games initiative, as part of the London 2012 legacy.
The event was run in conjunction with local club Nene Valley Harriers, who are keen to get more youngsters involved in cross country and athletics.
For further details of how to get involved go to their website www.nvh.org.uk
Rupert expressed his thanks to Nene Valley Harriers, who gave up their time, and Chris Allen and Sports Leader students from The Priory School at Spalding, who marshalled the course and provided race hares.
He added: “It was fantastic to see so many pupils taking part in competition and most importantly showing great determination, self belief and passion.”
