Rebecca Heyward has applied for permission to carry on operating her dog grooming salon in North Road on a permanent basis.

South Holland District Council granted Rebecca temporary permission three years ago which, she confirmed in a letter to planning officers, had allowed her to employ two villagers on a part-time basis. In her letter, Rebecca said: “Planning permission was granted for three years in order to assess the impact on the area.

“I feel the impact has only been positive as there are many residents from the local community who use the service, along with residents from the surrounding areas.”
