Take a once in a lifetime trip to Africa with Spalding Travel

We at Spalding Travel recently teamed up with African Pride to host an African Evening with our customers who are looking for a once in a lifetime journey.

African Pride is a tour operator which builds dreams for those travelling to Africa, The Indian Ocean, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. As a company, it had more than 150 years' worth of travel experience and like ourselves, they are fully independent. Being independent allows them to be completely unbiased when tailor-making a holiday which they base on your requirements and wishes.

In the language of Swahili, safari means journey. We took our clients on a journey throughout Africa’s most popular reserves, landscapes and landmarks.

Botswana is one of the most popular safari destinations, with its breathtaking experiences of wildlife. Here you’ll be able to spot herds of elephants and buffaloes gathering together, hippos, crocodiles and birds will be seen around the lagoons and if you travel further south, you will see zebras and antelopes which attract predators like lions, wild dogs and cheetahs.

To get to Botswana, you can fly direct with British Airways to either Cape Town or Johannesburg and then transfer to either Maun or Kasane

One of the greatest attractions in Africa is Victoria Falls, recognised as one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. This mile-wide curtain of water is a genuinely unforgettable sight. View its expanse from a height on a helicopter tour or experience the falls up close while white water rafting.

Cape Town in South Africa offers an extensive range of activities. Experience one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature and the most iconic landmark of South Africa, Table Mountain. Or swim with the penguins at Boulders Beach.

If you’re travelling all that way, why not make the most of it? You can twin-centre your safari with a city stay or even travel to the Indian Ocean and end your dream relaxing on the white sand, gazing at the clear blue seas.
