Holbeach Music and Beer Festival 2019: The countdown begins
There is just over a month to go until this year's huge Holbeach Music and Beer Festival.
The event, which runs from Friday, August 2 until Sunday, August 4, on Kings Field, features an '80s and '90s theme for 2019 - and revellers can get into the full festival experience by camping out.
“Offering camping was one of the reasons to change the venue last year successfully to Kings Field on Fen Road/Raven’s Gate," said festival organiser Sean Taylor.
"The public feedback in the early years was to offer on site camping, which was very well supported last year and has proven to be a successful addition to help grow The Holbeach Music and Beer Festival.
"We have quickly established ourselves as a well organised, respected and now one of the most popular community events in Lincolnshire.
"We are proud that guests are travelling to support our community and town from all over the country including bookings from Ireland, Scotland, Newcastle, Birmingham, London and Portsmouth to name just a few.”
The festival is now in its fifth year and features a packed line-up of acts - plus the new attraction of the VW Camper Van and Car Show.
Headlining on the Friday is top ‘80s act ‘Wild Boys'; on Saturday headliners are ‘Revival’, ‘Zeb Rootz’ and Take That tribute ‘Rule The World’ and on Sunday headliners are ‘The Jam’d’ , rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll band ‘The Houndogs’ and award-winning Pink tribute ‘Vicky Jackson’.
If you choose to camp this year, the camping ticket includes luxury showers and changing room facilities, toilets, charging points/sockets, lighting, 24hr security, and the option of electric hook-up (at an extra cost).
All types of campers are welcome including tents, caravans, motorhomes, VW camper vans and there's even a ‘Quiet Camping Area’. Pitch space is free, with a 6m x 6m area.
There's also free parking at the event, a free shuttle bus to and from Holbeach and free children's admission (under 12s).
