Holbeach drink driver had been suffering bereavement issues and the breakdown of his relationship




A Holbeach man caught drink driving was banned from driving for 20 months by Boston Magistrates yesterday (Wednesday, December 19).

Paul Vines, 41, of Washway Road, was seen driving his Mitsubishi Shogun in the early hours of December 3 and gave a reading of 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

On his behalf, Beris Brickles said he had been suffering from bereavement issues and the breakdown of his relationship which had led to alcohol issues.
