County and district councillor Nick Worth has won a 30 year battle to build a new footpath between Langwith Gardens and Stukeley Hall Drive in Holbeach.

The footpath was funded by Ashley King Developments and built by Tyrrell Construction.

Coun Worth said: “This has taken years of lobbying to determine the ownership and to get it to the top of the list just to get it as a public right of way.

“I am delighted to have finally completed my election promise to get this footpath in place and am sure residents will be equally delighted not to have to walk through mud and water as they have for the past 30 years.”
