A151 'one of the worst routes in the county'
A high-risk south Lincolnshire road has been highlighted as one of the worst routes in the county.
Data from the Road Safety Foundation shows the A151 between Spalding and Bourne as a ‘persistently higher risk’ rural route - one of just three roads in Lincolnshire to get this label.
The figures - released by Ageas - show 18 serious and fatal crashes over a stretch of a little more than 13.5 miles between 2017 and 2019. That was up from seven incidents between 2014 and 2016.
