New support services for homeless adults and those at risk of homelessness are being put in place by Lincolnshire County Council.
This includes short-term crisis housing, a homeless outreach service, longer-term accommodation, domestic abuse accommodation and preventative services.
Previously, accommodation support wasn’t offered in all districts and different services were offered in different locations, meaning people often had to travel across the county to access short-term or longer-term housing.
From July today, for emergency and longer-term accommodation, there will be provision in every district.
There will also be a countywide ‘floating’ support service to prevent people becoming homeless, and a rough sleeper outreach service.
